Insights for owner-operators.

Plain-English guides on websites, local SEO, branding and AI search from PIER Creative & Web. We name our sources and state our prices excluding GST.

What our own website looked like before we tested AI search visibility

Before we changed anything, piercreative.com.au held 46 ranking positions across 23 search terms in Australia, with an estimated 4 visits a month from search, according to Semrush on 27 October 2026. We are testing whether structured data, answer-first pages and an Insights section change that, and we will publish the results, including any losses.

How to get more Google reviews for your business

Ask every customer you have done good work for, make it easy with your Google review link or QR code, and offer nothing in return. Google bans discounts or free goods in exchange for reviews, so a reward puts your profile at risk. Reply to the reviews you get. More reviews and positive ratings can help your local ranking.

How much does a website cost in Australia?

At PIER Creative & Web, a Starter website starts from $9,999 and a Growth website from $14,999, both excluding GST, with custom builds quoted to scope. Other providers price differently. Across all of them the price moves with the number of pages, the amount of content, any integrations and the support you want after launch.

SEO for tradies in Australia

SEO for tradies means making your business easy to find when someone nearby searches for your trade. Google ranks local results mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. A complete Business Profile and a website that names your trade and area build relevance, and genuine reviews build prominence. Nobody can pay Google for a better local ranking.
